Postbox picks up an ASTRA
April 2009 Update: The PostBox team were thrilled to discover that at the 7th Annual ASTRA Awards it was announced the Max Masters Coldplay documentary had won the Award for Most Outstanding Music Program.
PostBox was initially delighted being nominated for the award back in February, up against some pretty tough competition from MTV and Max Sessions. Winning the award, however, is a huge milestone for PostBox and celebrations are set to continue with the team at MAX over the coming weeks.
Back in 2008, XYZ Networks sought after the Sarah Linton Productions and PostBox combination to create a big feature Max Masters documentary.
PostBox was asked to deliver a powerful presentation encapsulating one of the most popular and world-renowned rock groups within the last decade. The exclusive On-Demand release of the 1 hour show was to both promote their latest album "Viva la Vida or Death and all his friends" and to reflect on Coldplay's journey to international stardom.
The PostBox team faced the immense pressures of time constraint when dealt the job of editing and post producing a one hour program in only 6 days.
"The client was ecstatic! The result of interwoven video footage from the past years, and stills complimented by the brilliance and depth of Coldplay songs..." Aaron Petersen, Editor.
The Max Masters feature received an amazing response from the industry...
