Australia meets Nuldo

The PostBox team extended their expertise into the world of animation once again, creating a 3D character to be the face of a Direct Response TV campaign for Get Debt Free.

The team worked on the project from inception to completion, which included managing the concept, the design and the many intricacies of the animation itself. The brief was to create a commercial that would represent a person’s feelings in a negative financial situation combined with a representation of a rescue plan. The result was well received; the PostBox team produced an animation depicting a clever, gender-free 3D character called ‘Nuldo’ who conquers life’s money traps and difficulties represented by quicksand. Apparently Nuldo channels Peter Garrett-like characteristics and the PostBox-like X factor (according to the word on the street).

The TVC delivered on all accounts, and has become a massive success for the client. This was certainly a TVC to be proud of. The combination of all elements: script, animation, sound effects and concept all within a very tight budget showed the adaptable and creative qualities of the PostBox creative team.
