With the upcoming release of the new ‘top-end’ insurance brand, Guardian Insurance, BRTV was given the task of delivering the client’s new direction.

Set on the pristine beaches of Manly, freshly cast Dr Andrew Rochford, set to appeal to the many Australian families concerned about securing their family’s financial future. Dr Rochford quickly established a connection with his audience on an amicable level which has proven to be a successful key strength of BRTV’s approach to advertising.

Shot on the ever impressive RED format, PostBox was provided with rushes ready to impress. PostBox edited, created the brand based animations and graphics and applied all the finishing touches which best complemented the beach setting. Exploring the power of RED’s raw rushes, the last 20 shots presented a problem with the default colour space which resulted in complete white out vision. With the ability to control the raw metadata, PostBox graded back the shots to be recognisable and more importantly useable.

 The end result boasted a warm backdrop, exploding blues, the casual Australian lifestyle and the key issue of securing Life Insurance with Guardian’s ‘better off plans’.
