fresh look works for harris farm

Long running client Harris Farm were keen to trial something new for their current twice weekly Glendale ads. They requested that we put together a crew to shoot their specials on location at their Warehouse in Flemington Markets starring Buying General Manager Tristan Harris. In pre production we had to work out the most cost effective way for us to shoot the weekly specials. We were able to keep costs down by initially shooting a top and tail which we would use every week for the next month or so, then thereafter we were only required to shoot the products on special for that week. 

On location at Flemington Markets we didn’t expect the mayhem we encountered- for one the amount of delivery trucks and the countless whirling forklifts! Once inside Harris Farm we do our best to set up each shot with as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible. We are literally in the thick of the many active labourers in the middle of their work day. We have to do our best with what products are on hand for the background, whilst trying to source as many leafy greens and colourful fruits as we can get our hands on. More importantly our major challenge is dealing with the constant noise of reversing trucks, forklifts and general clatter you would expect in a warehouse!

Since airing the client has seen a boost in sales and has received nothing but positive feedback. Thrilled with the results Glendale has produced, Harris Farm has since incorporated the same concept for their Bathurst and Orange stores. With us producing 4 commercials a week customers have been flocking to their local stores and sales have continued to improve.
