PostBox helps pave the streets
PostBox likes to offer support to charity organisations and on this occasion Youth off the Streets approached us to help them launch their “Pave the Streets with Gold” fundraising campaign.
Father Chris Riley’s Youth off the Streets is a charitable organisation that relies heavily on Public donations. Unfortunately, like the rest of the world hit by the Financial Crisis of 2009, YOTS were finding it increasingly challenging as Australians were tightening their belts. YOTS were in need of a campaign that would inspire people to dig deep and give generously, and PostBox was more than happy to step in. The PostBox crew provided post production services and facilities to construct a touching commercial that appealed to even the deepest of pockets.
The footage was supplied as 4k RED Rushes and by chance, accompanied with a thunderous display of lightning setting the scene. The team pulled together an appropriate Call to Action, as bold and engaging as the nearly flawless video resolution.
A call for Compassion was the driving component, requiring balancing images of poverty, forlorn adolescence and food drive volunteers. The final product resulted in a moving 30sec montage, which cemented a campaign insuring steadfast donations in the future, and more importantly, the ability to continue assisting in taking youth off the streets.
“What an amazing effort, everyone is blown away by how well you have made it look. Thank you to all involved. It is very emotive, great effects” – Staff at YOTS
