Aaron Petersen Managing Director / Online Editor
Aaron began his production career over 16 years ago with the Ten Network in Canberra. His strong passion for detail and design saw him progress into post production and learn the craft of TVC Editing and Design on Lightworks and Discreet Edit. Here Aaron really found his feet and went on to create hundreds of commercials for campaigns all over Australia whilst winning numerous industry awards along the way.
In 2002, after extensive world travel, Aaron settled in Sydney to continue his career. He made the rounds through numerous agencies and production companies as an Online Editor, Designer and Compositor on projects broadcast throughout Australia and Internationally. Aaron ignited his network of producers, directors and production crew whilst working across projects for national television commercial campaigns, long form advertising, television series, corporate/promotional videos, short films and feature documentaries.
Aaron is completely focused to serve clients and saw a difference to better service this so he crafted a Post-Production company with the one goal in mind - Be client focused and execute on detail. In 2004 PostBox began...
Aaron keeps his toes across the entire Production and Post Production process working as a Creative Director for a few production companies and an Online Editor for PostBox clients. He also manages the two divisions of PBOX Pty Ltd (PostBox Sydney and PostBox Central). Believe it or not, he strives to maintain a good work/life balance, spending time with his family and also committing absolute dedication to his clients. Robbie Moore Managing Partner / Senior Producer
Robbie has over 19 years industry experience, over 9 years management experience and over 5 years fatherhood experience. He is still not sure which is most challenging but I am confident I can negotiate with the best of them.
Robbie's career in Advertising runs from Los Angeles to Sydney to Auckland and has been fortunate to work on amazing brands like Coca-Cola, Dove, McDonald's, Tourism NSW, News Ltd, Tip Top, Wrigley, NSW Lotteries, Hyundai, LG, Geffen Records, Hollywood Park Casino, ASX, V Energy Drink, Lion Nathan and the Commonwealth Bank.
Many of the campaigns have been consistently recognised at local and international award shows for both outstanding creative and exceptional business results.
In his previous role as General Manager of DDB Sydney, Robbie lead the Business Management team with a responsibility for the quality of work and client relationships. Immediately before joining DDB, Robbie built and ran the Coca-Cola portfolio - Coke, Diet, Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Lift, PowerAde, vitaminwater, Mt Franklin, Nestea and Goulburn Valley - across Australia and New Zealand for Ogilvy.
Now with the PostBox team, Robbie brings his vast experience and knowledge to our existing and welcoming clientele. Coming in with the title of a Senior Producer, clearly his skill set and expertise extends beyond this. Besides sourcing, producing and managing projects through the doors at PostBox, he also finds himself aligning and working cloesly with clientele for strategic planning, brand development and new business development; a vast amount of knowledge which is hard to ignore for most.
As a senior member of the industry, Robbie has worked closely with the Advertising Federation of Australia as a lecturer for the UTS/AFA AdSchool program. He both authored and taught the 'Introduction to Advertising' course, lectured on 'Campaign Planning' and guest lectured on 'Integrated Brand Management'.
Throughout his career, Robbie has sat through a lot of groups, written too many presentations, flown a lot of miles, probably ate more than he should, definitely drank more than he should, haven't danced enough, had one or two arguments, made some fantastic campaigns, made some fantastic friends, sold a lot of product and had a lot of fun doing it all. The golf handicap is up more than it's down. The surfboard is now just a cruel reminder of his youth. And a love of bad football teams has done little to curb the swearing.

Kylie Smith General Manager
Kylie’s background has always been in television. An early interest in the ‘magic of television’ came from many hours of researching the box as a child. This interest grew into a Media Production degree at CSU-Mitchell post high school and culminated in a job at the Ten Network in Canberra. After working as both a DA on the nightly News broadcasts and a Production Coordinator in the Production department for some time, Kylie left Ten with a diverse and well tuned set of skills; from coping with emergencies on live TV through to organising a department with 6 producers and 10 post/production crew.
After a lengthy sojourn overseas Kylie joined the world of Media Strategy and Buying at Ikon Communciations. “A great workplace only surpassed by its creative minds and giant beer fridge!” Originally leaving after over 4 years just on maternity leave to have her first child, she never looked back when a position came up at PostBox.
Kylie rejoined the world of Production and television sparkle at PostBox in 2007. With a deep knowledge in client relations, production processes, and writing Kylie has gone on to develop her skills whilst at PostBox with further Accounting and Producing training. Gemma Raymond Production Manager / Producer
After completing her HSC Gemma, like any recent school leaver had big plans but just didn’t quite know how to get there. She took a full time admin job at a city law firm and studied the ins and outs of News Media and Media Production at night. Her studies included courses with PBL, TAFE and the University of Wollongong.
During the course of her studies the opportunity of Post Production Coordinator arose with PostBox. Gemma instantly made the team feel complete with her engaging personality, client-based background and her peculiar playlist on the iPod. With such a strong theory background in Production Gemma has further honed her skills in script writing, producing, and coordinating. Now working as the Sydney Producer/ Production Manager Gemma has a close repour with our clients; she produces numerous commercials each week and is now regularly on set as Producer or Stylist.
She enjoys meeting all clients’ briefs head on and the creative challenges that come every day with the running of the studio. Gemma continues to fill in any quiet moments in the studio with inane chatter concerning True Blood, who finished the milk/ the last Monte Carlo and her quest in beating everybody in Fantasy Football.

Bree Umbers Production Manager / Producer
Bree Umbers is one of the creative minds working at the Central West studio. Originally a country girl from Parkes, Bree left the farming life behind to head for the big city to, ‘become a rockstar and make millions of dollars’. When that didn’t happen, she chose a new direction. Her confidence and creativity lead her through the doors of magazines such as Womans day, New idea and Famous. She worked as a Freelance Photo Editor for several years before deciding to move into another style of production.
With an acute eye for detail, broad range of creative ideas for pitches and excellent people skills, what Bree lacked in television knowledge she made up for tenfold in her ability to connect with clients and deliver the product they had envisioned. Bree has excellent time management and can work to the tightest deadlines. Since becoming a part of the PostBox team Bree has walked the walk and talked the talk of the local community and become an asset to PostBox.
She can also be found lost in a myriad of music and songwriting or sniffing out the best latte frappes in town.

Chris Solomon Producer / Camera Operator
Chris is one of the team producing commercials out of the Central West studios as well as wielding our camera on locations when clients require it. Chris began his interest in production when a friend introduced him to a video camera and editing software and he quickly caught the production bug. After completing a couple of short films and a few freebie corporate videos he decided that it might be a good time to try making a profession out of this new found skill, so with text books in hand he headed off to university. Three sleep deprived years later he stepped out of a graduation ceremony with a degree in Television Production thinking, what next?
The answer to that question was a move to Orange and a new career producing television commercials with PostBox.
